Chemical Peels Reveal Younger and Smoother Skin

There are three types of peel techniques, matched to correct specific problems. During the consultation, your doctor will determine the technique that will work best for you.

Light peels are used to lighten superficial age spots and fine wrinkles. Medium peels can often be used to eliminate advanced sun damaged skin and age lines, while deep peels can help correct more sever conditions, such as acne scarring.

Peels are performed by our doctors in the comfort of our outpatient centers. The procedure generally takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Patients usually take a light sedative to help them relax during the peel. Depending on the strength of the peel, patients resume normal activities anywhere from within a day to a few weeks. Your doctor will be able to give you more specific information during your consultation.
